What Are The Choices Explorer Activities?

The activities are lessons that walk students through a sequence of steps in Choices Explorer. The sequence is designed to take 8th-10th grade students through a career development course addressing 5 major questions:

  • Why should I take part in career development?
  • What career and education options are available?
  • What sort of careers & education would suit me best?
  • What does it take to be successful in the career and education options I want?
  • How can I start planning for my future?

There are 14 lessons that result in students having a complete portfolio of their career development, including a 4-year high school plan around the career area that matches their interests and skills.
